(Riwayat al-Turmuzi). Daripada Ibnu Abbas r.a. pula menyatakan. bahawa Rasullullah s.a.w. menyembelih aqiqah untuk Hasan dan Husin masing-masing dengan seekor kambing. (Riwayat Abu Dawud)
[/box]

Daging Aqiqah

(Hadis riwayat al-Hakim)[/box]

Melakukan Aqiqah Sebelum Kelahiran

Syarat Sah Aqiqah

Syarat sah aqiqah ialah:

* Berniat aqiqah ketika menyembelih.
* Binatang ternakan berkaki empat iaitu kambing, biri-biri, kibas, lembu, kerbau dan unta.
* Memenuhi syarat-syarat sembelihan.
* Tidak terdapat kecacatan pada binatang tersebut
* Disembelih pada waktunya iaitu hari ketujuh selepas kelahiran @ bila-bila masa sebelum anak tersebut baligh
* Binatang yang hendak disembelih sudah cukup umur.

Binatang Umur

Biri-biri 1 tahun atau lebih

Kambing 2 tahun atau lebih

Lembu/kerbau 2 tahun atau lebih

Unta 5 tahun atau lebih

Sunat-sunat Aqiqah ialah:

* Dilakukan pada hari ke tujuh kelahiran
* Menyembelih ketika matahari sedang naik (pagi)
* Mencukur rambut bayi selepas penyembelihan
* Memberi nama yang baik kepada bayi
* Berdoa ketika hendak menyembelih
* Daging dimasak manis.
* Tidak mematahkan sendi tulang binatang tersebut ketika dimasak.
* Daging aqiqah disunatkan buat jamuan atau kenduri

Hikmah Aqiqah

* Tanda kesyukuran diberikan kekuatan oleh Allah s.w.t. untuk menjalankan syariat Islam dan dianugerahkan anak
* Menggalakkan amalan sedekah.
* melepaskan penghalang pada bayi dalam memberi syafaat kepada orang tua mereka
* Sebagai mengikuti sunnah Rasulullah.
* Mengukuhkan semangat persaudaraan dalam masyarakat.
* Membuang sifat kedekut, bakhil dan tamak dalam diri.
* Memulakan kehidupan seorang bayi dengan amalan yang baik
* membiasakan berkorban bagi orang tua

Room's sign

Made this myself since we're going to move to different office early next month. A proper and nice sign to be glued on the door of mother's room.

My big boss said that he will allocate one special room for nursing mommies to ease their job. But yet, the room that he proposed was a smoking room which obviously...ehem, being considered by our Mr administrative since he is a smoker. We're still hoping that, he did what our boss said...
" Give them a smoking room, because the utility room is soooo small".

He also agreed to sponsor a carpet and he asked us to find other utilities such as FRIDGE and let him know, what model, what type and he will find the solution how to get one for us.

However, I have a not good feeling since, our new place already accommodate a few places of "mother's room" at several level. And I am afraid that, mr administrative will give that reason for nursing mommies to use that room instead.

Personally, I think that, in order for them to provide a new "mother's room" at our level is quite difficult since the process will need other people's approval. Too many things to consider, i.e..need to install a few plugs, because smoking room don't have any. The fridge is also one thing. Because of that, I don't want to put so much hope on this matter.

Anyway, let just give a chance. Perhaps, I need to see my boss to clarify on this matter.

ps : The poster and leaflet on breastfeeding campaign was already on my table. I just wait the perfect time to put it on our pantry and distribute the leaflet.Weeeeeee!!!!!

Milk banana dates shake

Main ingredient : I am prefer low fat milk instead of full milk. Never tried Marigold Vanilla milk. I think, the taste will be different.
A few dates. It depends on you, if you like to eat date, by all means..put as much as you want.
1 pc of banana. I'm prefer Pisang Berangan. Do not put too much of the banana, as the result, your drink will become too thick and it's like to eat "cekodok pisang" yang belum dimasak.

METHOD :
Put all in the food mixer and press the juice mode. Wait until 2-3 minutes, and it done!.
See the result? . For better taste, you can try to put 1/2 scoop of vanilla ice-cream. Dates, banana and milk are nutritious food especially for expecting and nursing mommy. Good Luck!

perkara Allah sembunyikan

I can taste - part 2

Okay, my mommy said that I've improved a bit. Why? because, during my previous class I was sooo shy and I just sit down on mommy's lap. But yesterday, I can join teacher Effa singing, said something to teacher Effa as well.

Oh!! Before I forgot, I have something to tell to all readers, especially my aunties, Mak Cik, Mak Lang, Pak Lang, Pak Long and Cik Nie. Don't be jealous ok? because I got a NEW T-SHIRT!..... It's wrote "ALIM's Kids" printed on the t-shirt. Everybody got one and all of them are very happy. This is me wearing pink t-shirtWhile this one, after transformed. Green T-shirt already.Although the size is the smallest one, but it's still big for me. Hehehe

For yesterday's lesson. We have learned about our tongue. It's all about "I can taste". Teacher Effa showed her flashing cards mostly on foods. I'd still remember when she asked me whether I like to eat vegetables or not and I said 'no' to her and everybody in the class laughed at me. Mommy said, I was sooo sincere answered her. Well, that's was true enough! hehehehe..

Next, Teacher Effa showed us " chocolate bar" and I answered it correctly!...when she asked me the same question as above, I said "yes" for this one. Chocolate is good taste you know. I love it very much. But, mommy told me that I can't eat too much of chocolate or else, caterpillars will bite my teeth. Scary you know..

Who like to eat chocolate????

Caterpillars coughing. And 'C' is for caterpillars.

Next lesson, we learned about letters. We learned from 'A' to 'F'. Teacher Effa was very creative since she can sing also while taught us about letters.

When we finished about letters, we had a singing lesson. Our songs was :
1) La Illahaillallah
2) Head and shoulder
3) Incy wincy spider
4) Chicken dance
5) Little Indian
6) Hands and feet
Me and teacher Effa singing together in front of the class.

My two other classmates, Rifki and Haikal also dancing with help from their mommies
Teacher Effa and her 'surprise' bag. Hurmm...can't wait to see what inside the bag.

Then, as promised...Teacher Effa gave us blocks and she asked us to share and play together. I love to play with blocks.

I made this!Mr Haikal is focusing build his tower
The class was finished around 12.40pm and before that, each of us got sticker from Teacher Effa. Thank you so much teacher!!!!!

Breastfeeding Myths part 2

1. A breastfeeding mother has to be obsessive about what she eats.
Not true! A breastfeeding mother should try to eat a balanced diet, but neither needs to eat any special foods nor avoid certain foods. A breastfeeding mother does not need to drink milk in order to make milk. A breastfeeding mother does not need to avoid spicy foods, garlic, cabbage or alcohol. ( is it?.. I think depends la kot kan...takkan nak bantai sumer pulak..kena try and error) A breastfeeding mother should eat a normal healthful diet. Although there are situations when something the mother eats may affect the baby, this is unusual. Most commonly, "colic", "gassiness" and crying can be improved by changing breastfeeding techniques, rather than changing the mother's diet.

2
. A breastfeeding mother has to eat more in order to make enough milk.

Not true! Women on even very low calorie diets usually make enough milk, at least until the mother's calorie intake becomes critically low for a prolonged period of time. Generally, the baby will get what he needs. Some women worry that if they eat poorly for a few days this also will affect their milk. There is no need for concern. Such variations will not affect milk supply or quality. It is commonly said that women need to eat 500 extra calories a day in order to breastfeed. This is not true. Some women do eat more when they breastfeed, but others do not, and some even eat less, without any harm done to the mother or baby or the milk supply. The mother should eat a balanced diet dictated by her appetite. Rules about eating just make breastfeeding unnecessarily complicated.

3. A breastfeeding mother has to drink lots of fluids.
Not true! The mother should drink according to her thirst. Some mothers feel they are thirsty all the time, but many others do not drink more than usual. The mother's body knows if she needs more fluids, and tells her by making her feel thirsty. Do not believe that you have to drink at least a certain number of glasses a day. Rules about drinking just make breastfeeding unnecessarily complicated.

4. A mother who smokes is better not to breastfeed.-As a muslim, I object this. Don't smoke ok, coz ader fatwa yg jatuhkan hukum merokok adalah HARAM.
Not true! A mother who cannot stop smoking should breastfeed. Breastfeeding has been shown to decrease the negative effects of cigarette smoke on the baby's lungs, for example. Breastfeeding confers great health benefits on both mother and baby. It would be better if the mother not smoke, but if she cannot stop or cut down, then it is better she smoke and breastfeed than smoke and formula feed.

5. A mother should not drink alcohol while breastfeeding.- Same as above. But this one, already clear crystal that, muslim can't drink / take alcohol. PULL STOP!
Not true! Reasonable alcohol intake should not be discouraged at all. As is the case with most drugs, very little alcohol comes out in the milk. The mother can take some alcohol and continue breastfeeding as she normally does. Prohibiting alcohol is another way we make life unnecessarily restrictive for nursing mothers.

6. A mother who bleeds from her nipples should not breastfeed.
Not true! Though blood makes the baby spit up more, and the blood may even show up in his bowel movements, this is not a reason to stop breastfeeding the baby. Nipples that are painful and bleeding are not worse than nipples that are painful and not bleeding. It is the pain the mother is having that is the problem. This nipple pain can often be helped considerably. Get help. Sometimes mothers have bleeding from the nipples that is obviously coming from inside the breast and is not usually associated with pain. This often occurs in the first few days after birth and settles within a few days. The mother should breastfeed! If bleeding does not stop soon, the source of the problem needs to be investigated, but the mother should keep breastfeeding.

7. A woman who has had breast augmentation surgery cannot breastfeed.
Not true! Most do very well. There is no evidence that breastfeeding with silicone implants is harmful to the baby. Occasionally this operation is done through the areola. These women do have problems with milk supply, as does any woman who has an incision around the areolar line.

8
. A woman who has had breast reduction surgery cannot breastfeed.
Not true! Breast reduction surgery does decrease the mother's capacity to produce milk, but since many mothers produce more than enough milk, mothers who have had breast reduction surgery sometimes manage very well to breastfeed exclusively. In such a situation, the establishment of breastfeeding should be done with special care to the principles mentioned in the handout #1 Breastfeeding—Starting Out Right. However, if the mother seems not to produce enough, she can still breastfeed, supplementing with a lactation aid (so that artificial nipples do not interfere with breastfeeding).

9. Premature babies need to learn to take bottles before they can start breastfeeding.
Not true! Premature babies are less stressed by breastfeeding than by bottle feeding. A baby as small as 1200 grams and even smaller can start at the breast as soon as he is stable, though he may not latch on for several weeks. Still, he is learning and he is being held which is important for his wellbeing and his mother's. Actually, weight or gestational age do not matter as much as the baby's readiness to suck, as determined by his making sucking movements. There is no more reason to give bottles to premature babies than to full term babies. When supplementation is truly required there are ways to supplement without using artificial nipples.

10. Babies with cleft lip and/or palate cannot breastfeed.
Not true! Some do very well. Babies with a cleft lip only usually manage fine. But many babies do indeed find it impossible to latch on. There is no doubt, however, that if breastfeeding is not tried, it will not work. The baby's ability to breastfeed does not always seem to depend on the severity of the cleft. Breastfeeding should be started, as much as possible, using the principles of proper establishment of breastfeeding. If bottles are given, they will undermine the baby's ability to breastfeed. If the baby needs to be fed, but is not latching on, a cup can and should be used in preference to a bottle. Finger feeding occasionally is successful in babies with cleft lip/palate, but not usually.

11. Women with small breasts produce less milk than those with large breasts. - 100% agreed!
Nonsense!

12. Breastfeeding does not provide any protection against becoming pregnant.
Not true! It is not a foolproof method, but no method is. In fact breastfeeding is not a bad method of child spacing, and gives reliable protection especially during the first 6 months after birth. But it is reliable only when breastfeeding is exclusive, when feedings are fairly frequent (at least 6-8 times in 24 hours), there are no long periods during which the baby does not feed, and the mother has not yet had a normal menstrual period after giving birth. After the first six months, the protection is less, but still present, and on average women breastfeeding into the second year of life will have a baby every 2 to 3 years even without any artificial method of contraception.

13. Breastfeeding women cannot take the birth control pill.
Not true! The question is not exposure to female hormones, to which the baby is exposed anyway through breastfeeding. The baby gets only a tiny bit more from the pill. However, some women who take the pill, even the mini-pill, find that their milk supply decreases. Œstrogen in the pill decrease the milk supply. Because so many women produce more than enough, this often does not matter, but sometimes it does and the baby becomes fussy and is not satisfied by nursing. Babies respond to rate of flow of milk, not what's "in the breast", so that even a very good milk supply may seem to cause the baby who is used to faster flow to be fussy. Stopping the pill often brings things back to normal. If possible, women who are breastfeeding should avoid the pill until the baby is taking other foods (usually 4-6 months of age). Even if the baby is older, the milk supply may decrease significantly. If the pill must be used, it is preferable to use the progestin only pill (without œstrogen).

14. Breastfeeding babies need other types of milk after 6 months.
Not true! Breastmilk gives the baby everything there is in other milks and more. Babies older than 6 months should be started on solids mainly so that they learn how to eat and so that they begin to get another source of iron, which by 7-9 months, is not supplied in sufficient quantities from breastmilk alone. Thus cow's milk or formula will not be necessary as long as the baby is breastfeeding. However, if the mother wishes to give milk after 6 months, there is no reason that the baby cannot get cow's milk, as long as the baby is still breastfeeding a few times a day, and is also getting a wide variety of solid foods in more than minimal amounts. Most babies older than 6 months who have never had formula will not accept it, because of the taste.

Breasfeeding Myths - Part 1

1. Many women do not produce enough milk.

Not true! The vast majority of women produce more than enough milk. Indeed, an overabundance of milk is common. Most babies that gain too slowly, or lose weight, do so not because the mother does not have enough milk, but because the baby does not get the milk that the mother has. The usual reason that the baby does not get the milk that is available is that he is poorly latched onto the breast. This is why it is so important that the mother be shown, on the first day, how to latch a baby on properly, by someone who knows what they are doing.

2. It is normal for breastfeeding to hurt. - but for me, I had an experience on nipple sore while I was breastfed Hannah. Perhaps, I don't really master with the latch on technique during that time.
Not true! Though some tenderness during the first few days is relatively common, this should be a temporary situation which lasts only a few days and should never be so bad that the mother dreads nursing. Any pain that is more than mild is abnormal and is almost always due to the baby latching on poorly. Any nipple pain that is not getting better by day 3 or 4 or lasts beyond 5 or 6 days should not be ignored. A new onset of pain when things have been going well for a while may be due to a yeast infection of the nipples. Limiting feeding time does not prevent soreness. (See handout #3 Sore Nipples).

3. There is no (not enough) milk during the first 3 or 4 days after birth.- The same situation was happened to me as well. Due to the pain that I feel after c-sect, I can't breastfeed properly and as for Hannah she will felt asleep once I tried to breastfeed her ( In fact, baru jer letak mulut kat nipple, tros ke lala land). Thus, not much stimulation happened. Finally, after I expressed my milk using AVENT manual pump, the yellowish liquid was came out on the 3rd day. I feel so happy and can't describe my feeling at that moment. It's like..a VICTORY you know..hehehehe...Yet, Hannah is still learning how to latch-on correctly. It really need patience and consistency in order to achieve what we want. Trust me, breastfeeding is not an easy job!. The success will only come with a lot of practice.
Not true! It often seems like that because the baby is not latched on properly and therefore is unable to get the milk. Once the mother's milk is abundant, a baby can latch on poorly and still may get plenty of milk. However, during the first few days, the baby who is latched on poorly cannot get milk. This accounts for "but he's been on the breast for 2 hours and is still hungry when I take him off". By not latching on well, the baby is unable to get the mother's first milk, called colostrum. Anyone who suggests you pump your milk to know how much colostrum there is, does not understand breastfeeding, and should be politely ignored.

4. A baby should be on the breast 20 (10, 15, 7.6) minutes on each side.

Not true! However, a distinction needs to be made between "being on the breast" and "breastfeeding". If a baby is actually drinking for most of 15-20 minutes on the first side, he may not want to take the second side at all. If he drinks only a minute on the first side, and then nibbles or sleeps, and does the same on the other, no amount of time will be enough. The baby will breastfeed better and longer if he is latched on properly. He can also be helped to breastfeed longer if the mother compresses the breast to keep the flow of milk going, once he no longer swallows on his own (Handout #15 Breast Compression). Thus it is obvious that the rule of thumb that "the baby gets 90% of the milk in the breast in the first 10 minutes" is equally hopelessly wrong.

5. A breastfeeding baby needs extra water in hot weather.
Not true! Breastmilk contains all the water a baby needs.

6. Breastfeeding babies need extra vitamin D.
Not true! Except in extraordinary circumstances (for example, if the mother herself was vitamin D deficient during the pregnancy). The baby stores vitamin D during the pregnancy, and a little outside exposure, on a regular basis, gives the baby all the vitamin D he needs.

7. A mother should wash her nipples each time before feeding the baby.

Not true! Formula feeding requires careful attention to cleanliness because formula not only does not protect the baby against infection, but also is actually a good breeding ground for bacteria and can also be easily contaminated. On the other hand, breastmilk protects the baby against infection. Washing nipples before each feeding makes breastfeeding unnecessarily complicated and washes away protective oils from the nipple.

8. Pumping is a good way of knowing how much milk the mother has.
Not true! How much milk can be pumped depends on many factors, including the mother's stress level. The baby who nurses well can get much more milk than his mother can pump. Pumping only tells you have much you can pump.

9. Breastmilk does not contain enough iron for the baby's needs.
Not true! Breastmilk contains just enough iron for the baby's needs. If the baby is full term he will get enough iron from breastmilk to last him at least the first 6 months. Formulas contain too much iron, but this quantity may be necessary to ensure the baby absorbs enough to prevent iron deficiency. The iron in formula is poorly absorbed, and most of it, the baby poops out. Generally, there is no need to add other foods to breastmilk before about 6 months of age.

10. It is easier to bottle feed than to breastfeed.
Not true! Or, this should not be true. However, breastfeeding is made difficult because women often do not receive the help they should to get started properly. A poor start can indeed make breastfeeding difficult. But a poor start can also be overcome. Breastfeeding is often more difficult at first, due to a poor start, but usually becomes easier later.

11. Breastfeeding ties the mother down.
Not true! But it depends how you look at it. A baby can be nursed anywhere, anytime, and thus breastfeeding is liberating for the mother. No need to drag around bottles or formula. No need to worry about where to warm up the milk. No need to worry about sterility. No need to worry about how your baby is, because he is with you.

12. There is no way to know how much breastmilk the baby is getting.
Not true! There is no easy way to measure how much the baby is getting, but this does not mean that you cannot know if the baby is getting enough. The best way to know is that the baby actually drinks at the breast for several minutes at each feeding (open—pause—close type of suck). Other ways also help show that the baby is getting plenty (Handout #4 Is my Baby getting enough milk?).

13. Modern formulas are almost the same as breastmilk.
Not true! The same claim was made in 1900 and before. Modern formulas are only superficially similar to breastmilk. Every correction of a deficiency in formulas is advertised as an advance. Fundamentally they are inexact copies based on outdated and incomplete knowledge of what breastmilk is. Formulas contain no antibodies, no living cells, no enzymes, no hormones. They contain much more aluminum, manganese, cadmium and iron than breastmilk. They contain significantly more protein than breastmilk. The proteins and fats are fundamentally different from those in breastmilk. Formulas do not vary from the beginning of the feed to the end of the feed, or from day 1 to day 7 to day 30, or from woman to woman, or from baby to baby... Your breastmilk is made as required to suit your baby. Formulas are made to suit every baby, and thus no baby. Formulas succeed only at making babies grow well, usually, but there is more to breastfeeding than getting the baby to grow quickly.

14. If the mother has an infection she should stop breastfeeding.
Not true! With very, very few exceptions, the baby will be protected by the mother's continuing to breastfeed. By the time the mother has fever (or cough, vomiting, diarrhea, rash, etc) she has already given the baby the infection, since she has been infectious for several days before she even knew she was sick. The baby's best protection against getting the infection is for the mother to continue breastfeeding. If the baby does get sick, he will be less sick if the mother continues breastfeeding. Besides, maybe it was the baby who gave the infection to the mother, but the baby did not show signs of illness because he was breastfeeding. Also, breast infections, including breast abscess, though painful, are not reasons to stop breastfeeding. Indeed, the infection is likely to settle more quickly if the mother continues breastfeeding on the affected side. (Handout #9 You can still breastfeed).

15. If the baby has diarrhea or vomiting, the mother should stop breastfeeding.
Not true! The best medicine for a baby's gut infection is breastfeeding. Stop other foods for a short time, but continue breastfeeding. Breastmilk is the only fluid your baby requires when he has diarrhea and/or vomiting, except under exceptional circumstances. The push to use "oral rehydrating solutions" is mainly a push by the formula (and oral rehydrating solutions)manufacturers to make even more money. The baby is comforted by the breastfeeding, and the mother is comforted by the baby's breastfeeding. (Handout #9 You can still breastfeed).

16. If the mother is taking medicine she should not breastfeed.
Not true! There are very very few medicines that a mother cannot take safely while breastfeeding. A very small amount of most medicines appears in the milk, but usually in such small quantities that there is no concern. If a medicine is truly of concern, there are usually equally effective, alternative medicines which are safe. The loss of benefit of breastfeeding for both the mother and the baby must be taken into account when weighing if breastfeeding should be continued (Handout #9 You can still breastfeed).

Lilitan Benang Hitam pada budak

Personally, I think not all of us are aware about this. One of my closed friend shared her sad story on how she being insisted by someone to put this 'benang' at her 3 month old son.

Hence, I would like to share this info to everybody. Hopefully, it will be helpful and the most important is, we're NOT in the SYIRIK category. Nau'zubillah......

Waalahu a’lam.

3 Great Reasons To Buy portabale Air-conditioner

Now tgh musim panas...berangan2 nak pasang air-cond. But not sure when my husband will press the green button. Wait.....another idea is to buy the portable air-conditioner to substitute the real air cond. Why??? let's check out....

1. Oprah said so.
- I love Oprah's show

2. It looks like the robot from “Lost In Space”. - Cool statement

3. Brad and Angelina are adopting one. - Nadddaaaa..nope.. takder kena mengena langsung dgn derang nih.

For those of you who make your decisions based on real information, here are some cool portable air conditioner facts.
A goldmine of enlightening information can be uncovered by visiting forums. For instance, when I wanted to tap into the experiences of actual portable air conditioner owners, all I had to do was Google “portable air conditioner forums” and Voila!, I had instant access to pages of relevant information from 3 different forums.
I encourage you to try this technique. Just substitute any generic product or service description for “portable air conditioners” plus the word “forums”.
What I uncovered was concerns over energy consumption, how energy consumption impacts circuit load, noise level, venting, the disposal of water from the dehumidifying process, and of course, price.

Portable Air Conditioner Energy ConsumptionIn the United States, the average air conditioner runs 750 hours each year. Since air conditioners use a lot of electricity, their efficiency has become a public issue. The EER, or Energy Efficiency Rating, is the ratio of the Btu’s per hour to the number of watts the unit draws.

Portable Air Conditioner Circuit LoadBefore you start your search for a portable air conditioner, check your breaker box for the number of amps available to the room you want cooled. If you buy a unit that draws 14.5 amps on a 15 amp circuit, you’ll have the additional but unintended cooling effect of sitting in the dark while enjoying your new portable air conditioner.
How Noisy Is A Portable Air Conditioner? Most portable air conditioners that deliver 14,000 Btu’s or less have a noise level around 50 decibels. This is comparable to the loudness of most refrigerators. At 60 decibels, a 16,000 Btu unit is slightly noisier. Think of what it’s like to watch TV in the kitchen while the fridge is running.

Portable Air Conditioner VentingThere is some controversy as to whether a dual hose unit is superior to the single hose configuration. On one hand, a single hose unit will exhaust from the room some portion of the cool air it just produced.
On the other hand, a dual hose unit eliminates this problem, but the warmer unconditioned air used to cool their compressors results in slightly less efficiency. They also use two internal fans which result in slightly higher energy usage.
Another hot topic at the forums that people are venting about is having to wrap insulation around the hose of their single hose unit. This is done to prevent the hot exhaust hose from adding heat back into the room. Personally, I can’t think of anything better than duct tape wrapped around insulation to brighten up a room.
Water Water EverywherePortable air conditioners offer three methods for disposing of the water extracted by the dehumidifier component.

The most convenient is auto evaporation which eliminates the need for drains or reservoirs. The reliability of this method varies from unit to unit.

The second method is direct drain using a hose attached to the unit. This can be problematic unless the unit is located near a floor drain. Not much chance of that, so you’ll have to use a bucket.

And finally, you get to empty the pan yourself. Just make sure the pan is large enough so the air conditioner doesn’t shut off in the middle of the night when the pan fills up.

PriceI think price is a secondary consideration to efficiency. As usual, a higher priced unit that operates more efficiently will always end up costing less in the long run than a cheaper, less efficient model.

Portable air conditioners are much less efficient than comparable window units and cost roughly twice as much. What you’re paying for is the flexibility to roll it from one room to another or into a closet for easy storage.

Another Option to ConsiderFor the price of a portable air conditioner you might be able to buy a window air conditioner AND a new window to put it in.

After 30 weeks past...

Alhamdulillah, praise to ALLAH for the GIFT that He gave to me and my family. I am blessed with all the prosperity in any kind that He showered to us. The picture above taken on 5 months of my pregnancy. MashaALLAH, another amazing experienced that I went through when I saw him opened and closed his mouth. He is drinking!.

Can you spot his legs , arms, mouth, head and his body?.

This one, when he was at 6 month in my belly.

And this one.....taken it yesterday. He was doing fine. Current weight is 1.7kg. After a few attempts, my gynea managed to get the best angle and viola!... very clear and sharp image.

Since,my pregnancy was already entered 30 weeks, I have to undergone every 2 weeks of antenatal check up.

Akademi Al fan

Finally, after I have done my scouting job for Hannah's school / kindergarten. I found Akademi Al fan is the best for Hannah at this moment. There are few reasons why I choose Akademi Al fan.

1) They have a playgroup class. Called ALIM PLAYGROUP.
2) It's only operated on Saturday. So, parents can send their kids.
3) The class is only took 1 hour. Bare in mind that, toddler at 2 yrs old can't stay longer more than 45min inside the closed space.
4) The place was soooo near from our house. 5 min driving.
5) Mommy can always stay with them and joined the activity until finished.
6) The fees is also reasonable, RM150 for each module and 1 module have 5-8 classes.

Al fan Academy school at BK5B.

Today is Hannah 1st day joined the playgroup activity. I didn't put high an expectation towards her since I knew her character very well. She loves to observe and prefer to stay at the sideline before she build her confidence level and joined her friends.
Hannah posing in front of her school with her Baju Kurung as Teacher Effa requested to wear Baju Raya.
We're arrived 5min before 10am. and while waiting for others, Hannah made herself busy reading a story books. She loves books with pictures and suddenly, she told me.. "mama! tuh..birds!!! made sounds..." hehehehe...So, that's why I captured that mural.

The class was held at Academy's surau. While other rooms are for other classes. They also had an extra classes for primary and secondary school today. Teacher Effa said, today we have to combine the class since they have a break for alm
ost 2 months. Normally, one class will only have 8-9 pupils at one time but today, we have almost 20.

Story time from Teacher Effa
PARACHUTE time and Hannah stay at the sideline.

She's waiting this time from the beginning she saw a pack of crayon.

Besides singing and story time, Teacher Effa also have an activity i.e drawing. For today's module, children need to put the paper on top any surface in order to get the surface's form. I gave Hannah 50 cent to do the task and it ended up by 2 flowers and 1 fish. Hehehehe.

She and her drawingMommies are busying helping their children.

Hannah and her friend, Kakak Nabila, 3 yrs old.

At the end of the class, we're having a small makan.makan. Some mommies cooked and bring the food to the class. While Teacher Effa was kind enough to buy some drinks and snacks. Before we eat, everybody recite the du'a makan. It was so funny when I asked Hannah what she wants to eat and she replied.."Hannah nak nasik mama"...hehehehe...sorry la dear, we don't have rice here. So, Hannah took fried macaroni and me took everything! hahahaha...preggy woman ok...what to do....

Hannah is enjoying eating macaroni. Sedap kan?.
Finally, before adjourned, we had a group photo. well, it took almost 1/2 an hour to make everybody in the line. Kids especially. Macam2 ragam la. Hahaha...

So, that's it! I knew Hannah enjoyed the class very much because when we're arrived home and we're still in the car and she saw her daddy. This is her line :

" papa!!!! Hannah pegi school, made picture..fuuuuuunnnnnnnnnnn"..hehehehe.
