Which breastpump is the best?

Remember my previous posting on the breast pump (BP) that I've listed to buy and finally I've made the decision to buy AMEDA dual lactaline?. So, this is the story...
Initially, I was so tempted to have Medela FS as the feature/spec was superb and the reviews was also good, 5 stars!. I think, this is the only smallest model as big as your palm and of course it's very light!. It also battery and electrical operated. The best thing is, this BP have a 2 phases of expression mode which it can imitate the baby's suck.

In front of cubicle, doing chores at home, driving or shopping and one of my colleague made a joke to do the 'pumping' job while do the presentation . (konon habis stylo la kan?)

But, despite everything I mentioned above, I just think twice about the price. Well, true enough that, you still can save your money A LOT if you still buy the expensive BP because if you do the math, formula milk will cost you around...RM150 per month and it become worst if your baby have an allergic and he/she only can drink soy based milk which the price? aahhhh~~~~ double from cow milk .So, let's do the calculation here : RM150 x12months = RM1800!. I only consider that for 1 children. How about if you planned to have more that 1? let's say, minimum is 2. So, RM1800 x 2 = RM3,600. Fuh~ fuh~ fuh~. Tarik nafas, lepas.....
That's why, we can still save our money A LOT, though we bought the most expensive breast pump.

Owh, Like everbody, I also did the surveyed and research on the breastpump. After free style, my second choice is MAMIVAC LACTIVE DUAL BREASTPUMP made in German. This is one is costly around RM1299.00.

But, the main reason why I hesitate to buy this breastpump is because, it's hard for me to find the reviews from the users whether in MALAYSIA or OVERSEAS. I did found it but in Germany language. Who wants to do the translation?. There a few blogs that I found , MALAYSIAN users gave some reviews and opinion on this breastpump but it still unsatisfactory. I also made a call to mom'slittleones and ask the sale assistant on the MAMIVAC LACTIVE model, any comment and complaints from the customer. She explained that, this brand is still good but the problem is, if there is a problem involving spare parts, it will take way long of time for me to get it fixed since the product/parts is made only in Germany. She also mentioned that, some customers do come back to them, complaint that, other bottles such as Bumblebee or Avent aren't compatible with this breastpump. So, that's it. I know German is a good manufacturer in the world. But somehow, after I considered all the reasons above, me finally, decided to buy AMEDA LACTALINE dual breastpump.

Why?

There a few reasons here :
- It only weight at 500 gram (very light)
- Battery and electrical operated
- It comes with a place to put the bottle in. So, no milk would split accidentally.
- Yes, it dual breastpump
- Silence pump
- It also have 2 phase of pumping mode, it mimic a baby's rhythm suction
- It also cheap but 5 star!.

I bought the breastpump from http://www.pumps4mums.co.uk/.uk and I got the price at RM522.68 after convert to RM and it includes the postage cost. Guess what?. You can't get that price in here. I've jot down the price from all online outlets that sell this item alone.

So, I'd really recommend this shop for you to buy AMEDA, MEDELA and LANSINOH products. I also got spare part and free gift from them. It only took 2 weeks for the item to arrive at my place. Now...it's for the picture time!!!

I was read someone's status at her wall mentioned that the latest of Sophie Kinsella series was out and it's already in MALAYSIA.

Me, being a great fan of Sophie Kinsella will not missed it!. I grabbed "Mini Shopaholic" at Kinokuniya during lunch break today and I've scanned the 1st page and it's already made me feel overwhelmed with her daughter , Minnie.

Tak sabar nak baca. Oh!...saya ada lagi 2 buah buku yang perlu dihabiskan sebelum bersalin. It's all about parenting and breastfeeding. Haihhsss........harus lah rajin seperti zaman persekolahan dahulu membaca buku hingga larut malam. Perlukah stay up?.

Raya 2010

This picture taken during Aidilfitri 2008 at Kelantan. Hannah was 6th month old at this time and yes! her mother also small because I can wear baju kebaya labuh.
While this one, just taken a week ago. Hannah is already a big girl, 2 yrs and 6 months old.While me?. I am carrying Hannah's brother inside my belly and he was nearly 7 months at this moment. Me looking soooooo chubby and fat!. HAHAHAHA. Kebaya labuh? kebaya singkat? Say good bye jer la. We don't have a spesific theme this raya. My husband said, his baju melayu still looks new and thus, he has no problem to put in his last year red baju melayu again. Me just bought one pair only and Hannah as well. It's ok, next year if panjang umur, murah rezeki...kami akan sedondong berempat. :-)

There's only 1o of us at this time. Very nice backdrop kan?. My 1st sis in law was engaged during that year. Coincidentally, the ceremony was held on 3rd hari raya if I not mistaken.
And..........this year, we have 3 new addition of Ab. Ghani's family. My BIL, my niece and our bibik. Hopefully, next raya will be gathered again. InshaALLAH.

Finally.......

Yeayyy!!!..khabar gembira dari Pos Malaysia. My maid shown me a receipt from Pos Malaysia on notification about my parcel. Bibik told that, the postman asked her for the passport number but she not memorize hers so we have to pick up by our own at their main office. Told hubby to pick it up by tomorrow morning. Can't wait!.

Tomorrow must be bz day since we're going back to Kelantan for Hari Raya festive. Me planned to make some tartlets shell and till now, we didn't pack anything yet. Huhuhu...

Balik2, masak for berbuka habiskan stok bahan mentah dalam fridge. Sempat buat puding karamel jugak. Ikut resepi dari internet. Alhamdulillah menjadi.

I don't think that I have a time to upload the picture of my AMEDA and share some thoughts why I choose AMEDA. Perhaps I can update after I back from Raya nanti.

I got new sandals!!!

Hai semua,
Semalam, mama belikan Hannah sandal baru sebab sandal lama dah sempit. Kaki Hannah dah melebar dan memanjang. So, Hannah pakai kasut princess kalau nak kelaur rumah. Nak ke gerai2 biasa pon Hannah pakai yang itu jugak. Sayang la kan. Sebab mama ckp, kasut mcm tuh nak buat jalan2 raya, pegi kenduri ke, majlis2 keramaian yang lain.

Hannah suka sandal yang mama belikan itu sebab selesa sgt and yang paling penting, ader gambar kartun. Hehehehe. Hannah peminat mickey mouse tau!. Walaupun, gambar tu bukanlah gambat mickey, tapi ader iras2 kot. Hehehe. Ok, jom kita tgk sandal baru Hannah tuh..

Boleh lah Hannah main kejar2 dengan Ayoh Su, Mak Lang Dayyini and Mak Su Irdina masa balik kampung raya nanti. Takpun, kejar ayam2 Tok Ayoh. Heee...tak sabar la.

The free gift was arrived 1st

Yup,
I bought my breast pump from www.pumps4mums.co.uk on last 2 weeks and the owner told me that my breast pump already being shipped on 23rd August 2010. The next day, I got an email from him because he forgot to include the free gift with the breast pump so he shipped the free gift on the next day.

And..... the free gift was safely delivered at my place on last 2 days. You know, It's quiet weird when you not expected this kind of things happened. Free gift come 1st?...isk!. I'd really looking fwd to received my breast pump before I go back to hometown for Raya Leaves. I hope , I can get the parcel at least on next Tuesday morning.

Oh, btw...I can track my order using this tool and yet, they only mentioned that my items was being shipped to MALAYSIA on 23rd August 2010. Nothing much. Well, I hope that they can update the status frequently. Example, "your parcel is already in MALAYSIA, waiting for custom's approval"..HAHAHAH... I wish la kan....So.....when he asked me to choose between Breastmilk storage and washable bra pad. I opt for this :My parcel, there was a chop by MALAYSIA's custom on 27th August 2010 and it was at my place on 1st September 2010. So, where is my breastpump?...huhuhuhu

Iftar with Big brother and Sis In law

The day my husband departed to Bintulu, I invited my brother and his wife to come over to my place for having an Iftar together. Yerla, ari tuh kami pulang ke kampung but my brother was not there.
